ST. LOUIS (KMOX) -- The chairman of Veterans' Affairs committee in the U-S House will be in St. Louis later this month.
Democrat Bob Filner will oversee a hearing into this week's revelation that the use of improperly sterilized dental tools at the John Cochran V-A hospital may have exposed hundreds of area veterans to Hepatitis and HIV.
Missouri Congressman Russ Carnahan says the hearing will be held on July 13th at a still-to-be-determined time and place, "Not only do we have to look into the procedures that were undertaken, but if there were management lapses," said Carnahan.
